Our 1A Static Vertical course focuses on Mobile Elevating Work Platforms (MEWPs) which exclusively elevate vertically. These MEWPs can be driven or moved into position whilst stowed and can only be operated whilst stationary. Outriggers or stabilisers must be positioned before the platform is elevated. These machines can differ but often come in the form of a trailer with scissor lift attachment.

How to inspect and test functions before using a MEWP.
How to safely operate a MEWP and understand its limitations.
How to plan a route and check your environment before operating a MEWP.
How to safely manoeuvre a MEWP whilst at height.

After successful completion of the course candidates will receive a PAL card with certification
Delegate requirements:
Must be at least 16 years of age.
