Our 3A Mobile Vertical course focuses on Mobile Elevating Work Platforms (MEWPs) which only facilitate vertical elevation. As well as being self-propelled, these MEWPs benefit from a variety of lift mechanisms including scissor, vertical mast, or sigma lift systems. These platforms don’t require jacks or stabilisers to be deployed to elevate its users can often be driven and/or moved during elevation.
Please note that vertical MEWPs in this category with a particularly high maximum working height may have safety restrictions which assert that stabilisers must be used at a certain height.

Delegate requirements:
Must be at least 16 years of age.
