Our MEWPs for Managers course prepares project supervisors and managers for everything they’ll need to know to use MEWPs safely and effectively on their site. We aim to instruct managers on selecting the right equipment for their work to reduce risk and increase productivity. By end of the course managers should understand their legal responsibilities, be able to assess potential hazards and ensure that their team is trained and fully prepared to safely operate MEWPs onsite.

What to expect on the course:

An understanding of MEWP regulations and standards
An understanding of different types of MEWPs and their uses
How to select the best MEWP for a job
Hire terms and use
How to conduct a MEWP-related risk assessment
How to ensure operators are trained and familiarised with MEWPs including pre-start checks.
MEWP personal fall protection

How to ensure MEWPs are maintained onsite
Emergency procedures
Complete a theory test

Have fun! Our instructors are knowledgeable and engaging – we encourage our delegates to ask as many questions as possible so they can be fully prepared for working safely at height.
After successful completion of the course candidates will have MM added to their PAL card with certification

Delegate requirements:

Must be at least 16 years of age.
Must be medically fit to safely operate equipment.
