Overview:

As a Service Engineer, you will carry out maintenance, repairs and services on our machines to a high standard. In this role as a Service Engineer, you need to have good customer service skills and relevant experience or qualifications within the powered access rental industry

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • You will be responsible for the fault-finding, servicing, repairs and maintenance of a range of powered access equipment within the depot
  • You will possess excellent fault diagnosis and repair skills and the ability to work alone or as part of a skilled team
  • Routine service and maintenance of all equipment and products
  • You will be required to complete all relevant supporting paperwork in line with company procedures
  • Carry out refurbishment of equipment and products where necessary
  • Promote teamwork between colleagues across all depots, to ensure delivery of an effective workshop performance
  • Liaise with the Depot and Engineering Management when spare parts are required to ensure cost effective repairs
  • Ensure service records are maintained and updated in line with Company procedures
  • Adhere to company guidelines on Health & Safety at Work
  • Adhere to damage recharge process, ensuring that all damage is highlighted
  • Maintain and ensure maximum productivity in line with company targets
  • Represent the company and values of the business and portray a professional and business-like image to all customers, potential customers and other people you meet in the course of your work
  • Carry out other tasks and duties as required

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have relevant qualifications and proven experience gained within the Construction Industry
  • Be experienced in plant, diesel engineering, auto electrics, hydraulics and diagnostic fault finding
  • Be able to prioritise tasks and work well under pressure
  • Good interpersonal skills and understanding of the importance of excellent customer service
