First Scania units collected

Last week, Quick Reach’s, Jim Dorricott went to inspect and collect the company’s brand new Scania units from West Pennine Trucks. It is safe to say that these impressive trucks exceeded expectations.

“We chose Scania due to its proven reliability record and its brand image.  At Quick Reach we only invest in the best equipment on the market and we feel that these are no exception.  West Pennine Trucks have been very accommodating and have tailor made these vehicles to our specification, a large part of this decision was also based on Scania’s fantastic after sales care.

The specification of the trucks is huge, they are Topline crown edition rear lift units.  This initial delivery of these three units is part of a much larger deal with Scania.  The next batch of lorries to arrive are ‘P’ cab rigid Scania’s fitted with Sterling access spec body’s, again we chose Stirling due to there reliability record and their lightweight design.
Our trailers have also been replaced with King GTS44 access spec models, again due to their lightweight and proven design.
In addition to this our wagons are now equipped with Scania’s market leading GPS systems which will enable us to give our customers more accurate delivery times.”

These eye-catching trucks will definitely turn a few heads whilst out on the road.
