Success for Teesside Depot

After officially opening our doors on 18th October, we are very happy to say that business in our newest depot is booming!

“We have an extremely strong Management team supporting this new business with many years’ experience of plant hire. Quick Reach are committed to supporting our clients with new equipment as we watch the region flourish into a leading industrial area. We embrace and share Ben Houchen’s vision of ‘levelling up’ the Tees Valley and look forward to being a part of and working with our clients on these important projects for years to come.”

David Barton, CEO of Quick Reach

Located right in the heart of the Tees Valley with a team of local talent, our depot in Middlesbrough not only supports Quick Reach customers in the region; it also houses our new head office for QR’s specialised division – Quick Reach Industrial Services.

Covering 1,600 sq. metres this expansive depot includes an accredited training centre and offices with plenty of room in both the yard and workshop to accommodate the brand-new machines which are continually arriving into our expanding fleet.

“I have been delighted with how the first month has gone, we have secured a number of hires and I have reconnected with a lot of customers that I previously dealt with. The depot is growing day by day and before long Quick Reach machines will be a familiar sight across the whole region.”

Stephen Huntley, Depot Manager (North East)

Why Teesside?

Earlier this year Teesside was one of the first cities to be granted Freeport status in the UK, encompassing a staggering 4,500 acres and covering 13 sites; this incredible achievement secured the region’s prominence as one of the top industrial centres in the country.  Ideally located, our depot will be able to service and supply our growing industrial/multi-national customers in the North East both quickly and efficiently.

As we continue to reach for greener as a company, we have pledged to promote the most sustainable and environmentally friendly solutions for our customers.  We are especially proud to support a region which is dedicated to lessening its carbon footprint; projecting to become carbon-zero as early as 2030.  This will be possible with ‘Net Zero Teesside’ a specialised carbon capture utilisation and storage project, helping Teesside to become the first zero-carbon industrial cluster in the UK.
