Last month we welcomed Ian Hall to the Quick Reach team as our new Business Development Manager for the Northeast. With a huge amount of industry experience and plenty of Geordie charm; we’re sure he will be a huge hit with our customers and team. Ian expresses that “Good service is what people are looking for, customers want truth and honesty.”
I had a quick catch-up with Ian to find out how he was settling into the Quick Reach team.
How long have you been in the industry?
I started many, many years ago at HSS when I was 16 -18 years old. I started doing the checking off in the back for the smaller machines and then I moved onto driving. One day I thought, why don’t I go into the sales side of it? I’ve been in powered access for around 8 years, I see the powered access industry going from strength to strength.
What is your favourite thing about the Northeast?
It’s not the weather that’s for sure! I’m going to be honest and say it’s a very friendly place.

What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?
I go to the gym and play football at the weekends. I’m wanting to get back into badminton too.
Finally, if you were a machine from our fleet what would you be and why?
I’d probably be a diesel scissor because their powerful and they’ve got a lot of room in them!
